Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) have been researched and developed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of fire response. Using predictive modeling in firefighting, especially in long buildings such as skyscrapers, can be challenging due to the complexity of the building’s structure and the potential for rapidly changing conditions, such as wind speed. AI and ML can be used to predict the spread of a fire, based on factors such as building layout, fuel load, and wind speed. This information can be used to guide the deployment of firefighting resources, such as fire trucks and firefighters, and to make decisions about evacuation and shelter-in-place strategies. However, it’s important to note that the use of AI and ML in firefighting is still in its early stages, and more research is needed to develop and improve these systems. Therefore, it’s recommended to consult with experts in firefighting, to have the appropriate strategy, tactics and equipment to control the fire, as well as to ensure the safety of the firefighting team.
