Submission
1. Manuscript Preparation
Format
- Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise English.
- Use a standard font (e.g., Times New Roman) with a font size of 12 points. ( Preferable )
- The text should be double-spaced, with 1-inch margins on all sides. ( Preferable )
- Any format accepted for the first submission, using SEAIJ templates must be after acceptance.
Structure
- Title Page: Include the title of the paper, author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information.
- Abstract: Provide a concise summary of the research (150-300 words).
- Keywords: List 4-6 keywords relevant to the paper.
- Main Text: Divide the content into sections such as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. ( Preferable )
- References: Follow the IEEE style for citations and references.
Figures and Tables
- Figures and tables should be embedded within the text at appropriate locations.
- Each figure and table must have a caption and be referred to in the text.
Length
- Research articles should not exceed 5000-8000 words. ( Preferable )
- Review articles should not exceed 5000-9000 words. ( Preferable )
- Case studies should not exceed 4000-5000 words. ( Preferable )
2. Submission Process
Online Submission
- Submit your manuscript through our online submission system get started.
- Register or log in to your account and follow the step-by-step instructions to upload your manuscript.
Cover Letter
- While not mandatory, we encourage authors to include a cover letter addressed to the Editor-in-Chief.
- Briefly describe the significance of your research and why it is a good fit for SEAIJ.
- Confirm that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration by another journal.
Supplementary Materials
- If applicable, include any supplementary materials such as datasets, additional figures, or multimedia files.
3. Review Process
Initial Check
- The editorial team will perform an initial check for completeness and adherence to the submission guidelines.
Peer Review
- Manuscripts that pass the initial check will undergo a rigorous peer review process.
- Each manuscript will be reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant field.
Revision and Resubmission
- Based on the reviewers' feedback, authors may be required to revise their manuscripts.
- For resubmissions, authors must use the provided form to document reviewer requests and the corrections made. The form should include detailed responses to each reviewer comment and specify the changes made in the manuscript.
- Resubmissions should include the completed form along with the revised manuscript.
Final Decision
- The Editor-in-Chief will make the final decision based on the reviewers' recommendations.
- Authors will be notified of the decision via email.
4. Post-Acceptance
Proofreading
- Accepted manuscripts will undergo professional proofreading to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Publication
- Once finalized, the manuscript will be published in the upcoming issue of SEAIJ and made available online.
Open Access
- SEAIJ is an open-access journal. Authors will retain copyright, and their work will be freely accessible to the public.
- Publication in SEAIJ is free for the first year, allowing researchers to publish their work without any charges during this initial period.
